The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:

REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY
Charles Slatkin, 114 Acapesket Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to replace the existing deck, install a pool fence and to replace existing telephone pole supports code specified columns on 12-inch concrete sonatubes.
CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY
Elaine & Paul Griffel, 10 Rawson Street & Rawson Street (Map 46-00S000-000D), East Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove branches overhanging the roof of the house and to replace weed area with grass and to trim trees across the street to a level lower than the wires.
Virginia Lee Bagdady, 20 Quahog Pond Road, West Falmouth, MA – For permission to create a 25-ft wide vista view and to cut a 4-ft path to the pond.
Ron Cunha, 21 Teaticket Path, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system, to remove the existing cobble stone retaining walls and paved surface and match grades on either side of driveway.
REQUESTS FOR HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT
Russell Lemke, 63 Quonset Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to raze the existing dwelling and construct a new single-family house with a deck, stairs, porch, to install dry wells, utilities and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Helen O’Rourke, 120 Alder Lane, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove the existing pavement and replace with crushed stone, to remove stones and replace with a cobblestone edge, reconstruct the existing stone wall, remove a 24-inch pitch pine and replace with a red maple, install a cobblestone apron, walkway, stairs and parking area and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Michael George, 45 Dusty Miller Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct and maintain two house additions, a porch addition, to remove and abandon a portion of the existing driveway to be converted to lawn, construction of a new driveway, retaining walls and steps, installation of a new Title 5 sewage disposal system, drainage, utilities, mitigation and restoration plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Falmouth Yacht Club, 0 Clinton Avenue (Map 46B02-018-000), Falmouth, MA – For permission to replace approximately 254 linear feet of timber bulkhead with vinyl sheet piling, install helical pile supports for the existing marine lift, a stormwater sand filter, utilities, drainage, to dewater, remove pavement, repave and striping and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT
The Geraldine V. Griffith Trust (c/o Geraldine V. Griffith, Trustee), 32 Eldredge Drive, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to add new riprap to supplement the existing riprap seawall that includes the installation of filter fabric, adding new crushed stone and riprap approximately 9 to 14-ft in width, remove trees and shrubs, install native plantings to supplement the existing vegetation and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Vacation Resorts International (c/o R & B Development LLC), 134 Menauhant Road, East Falmouth, MA - For permission to close out expired Orders of Conditions (DEP 25-2193 & 25-2472) through the installation of 3225 sf of native mitigation buffer plantings, the proposed 740 sf of beach grass plantings, to authorize the existing unpermitted shell parking area and shed with planting 1075 additional mitigation plant species, to remove invasive non-native shrubs and replace with native species and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Benjamin & Phyllis Losordo, 162 Menauhant Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct a 3-ft x 25-ft pier walkway and 2.5-ft x 23-ft pier walkway with 2” x 12” stringers and to permit the existing wooden piers.
Steven Cook, 286 Edgewater Drive East, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct a 20-ft x 26.5-ft addition, 4.5 x 20-ft deck, a new set of stairs, to relocate the septic tank, install native mitigation plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
REQUESTS TO AMEND THE EXISTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS
Virginia Ligotti, 122 Bywater Court, Falmouth, MA – Request to amend the existing Order of Conditions (DEP 25-3550) to change the location and configuration of the house and driveway and to add lattice screening under the house.
